Victor F. Ciardelli
Victor F. Ciardelli has tried approximately 150 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials in his career.

These are just a small synopsis of the accomplishments made by Ciardelli and Cummings.

In addition, Victor F. Ciardelli has represented attorneys in their own personal matters involving litigation; has had successful lawsuits filed in the Federal District Court involving lawsuits against insurance company for their failure to pay health care and disability payments.

Over the past year of 2006, Victor F. Ciardelli has successfully represented several real estate and mortgage brokers who were indicted in both Federal and State courts. He has had numerous Federal cases involving Link Card Fraud and drug and narcotic offenses along with the successful representation of a Chicago Police Officer were charges against him for the dismissal from the Chicago Police Department and was able to obtain a not guilty and a reinstatement to the force with all back pay and benefits for that Chicago Police Officer.

He has successfully represented a young motorcyclist in a collision with a motor vehicle and received substantial damages, a six figure amount, for a fractured leg.

PATRICK M. CUMMINGS, a 1980 graduate of the John Marshall Law School, is admitted to practice before the U. S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal District Court and the Supreme, Appellate, and Trial Courts of the State of Illinois.

In courtroom victories spanning over two decades, Patrick Cummings has exhibited a mastery of trial strategy and an unyielding dedication to his clients. His many successes include:

  • $264,000 verdict against the CTA for a client suffering a fractured leg,
  • $200,000 verdict against the City of Chicago for laceration and emotional trauma received in a fire truck collision,

Marc R. Campagna
Marc R. Campagna earned his Bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1999. He earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2002. Mr. Campagna is admitted to practice in Illinois and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Campagna is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Campagna is an associate with the Chicago law firm of Ciardelli and Cummings. He has been with the firm since 2002. His primary practice areas are litigation and real estate transactional law.

A large percentage of Mr. Campagna’s litigation practice consists of representing those seriously injured at work. Mr. Campagna has experience in a broad range of serious work injuries and has been successful in securing substantial monetary awards for his clients through both settlement and trial. Through experience, expertise and hard work, Mr. Campagna has helped those injured at work receive the money they deserve.

Mr. Campagna’s litigation practice also includes representing plaintiffs in various personal injury matters including extensive work in automobile accident cases and slip and falls. He has routinely obtained favorable results for his personal injury clients through negotiated settlements, arbitration and at trial.

Mr. Campagna’s practice also includes business license litigation and administrative review law. He has had great success in representing business owners located in the City of Chicago at license revocation and suspension hearings at the Mayor’s Licensing Commission and the License Appeal Commission. Mr. Campagna has achieved several noted victories at the Circuit Court and Appellate Court levels through his appeal of various suspension and revocation orders imposed by the City of Chicago. These victories have allowed his clients to retain their business licenses and remain “open for business.” Just a few representative cases are Camelot Motel vs. City of Chicago, Circuit Court Case No. 02 CH 22228; A.C. Motel vs. City of Chicago, Circuit Court Case No. 02 CH 3318; Lincoln Inn vs. City of Chicago, Circuit Court Case No. 05 CH 01459; Summit Motel vs. City of Chicago, Appellate Court Case No. 03-740; and Lincoln Motel vs. City of Chicago, Appellate Court Case No. 03-169.

Mr. Campagna has significant trial experience trying both bench and jury trials. His success at trial includes his work as co-counsel to Mr. Victor F. Ciardelli in a multi-million dollar verdict against multiple defendants in the case of Computer Documents, Inc. vs. Deborah Hooker, et al., Circuit Court Case No. 02 CH 10436, which involved an elaborate check forgery and money laundering scheme that took place over several years. Mr. Campagna was also co-counsel in the case of Joy Nelson vs. James Mason, Case No. 99 CH 17446, whereby he was able to secure for his client the rights to a lakefront condominium. Other representative cases include his trial work in the case of Novakovic, et al. vs. Guaranteed Financial Mortgage, Case No. 00 L 7655, whereby he successfully defended a mortgage broker in a class action lawsuit seeking several hundred thousand dollars in damages.

Mr. Campagna is also available to handle real estate transactional law having closed both residential and commercial deals for both buyers and sellers.
